It has been a habit of my son to sing to his heart’s delight when he feels like it. I see it more as his way of passing time when he’s got nothing else to do, when he’s bored or just when he feels like singing the songs he has heard and learned to imitate. In this particular video, Jed was about to sleep. He has been singing the song from Barney and my wife got the chance to take his video. He’s so cute especially when he kisses his mom after singing the part “with a kiss from me to you.”

Thanks for the tag Marikenya! This meme made me look back to the year that was and made me realize that it was one of the best years in my life! It is just fitting to post this on the first day of the year twenty o’ eight, with thanksgiving and heart of expectation for an even better year.

I’m tagging friends and doing my share to get this train rolling. |Darlene|Delish|Karmi|Manilenya|Zang|Norms|Scotty’s Princess|Jencc|Ella|Itot| Read the rest of this entry »

I have a handful of different reasons to delay blogging. But this event is just a milestone I can’t put off to write about. Good thing I’m done with midterms. I have several reports to still work on, though. Even as I’m a little groggy and sleepy, I will just post this right on and maybe edit it at another time. I just need to announce this special event….

Last night I introduced Nido Fortified to Jed via shifting technique. Two scoops of his good ‘ol Nido 1+ and one scoop of Nido Fortified. I asked his pedia, Dra. April G. Salvador and she said it was okay for him to take in Nido Fortified because at exactly 2 years old, his weight was that of the average 4 year old. Read the rest of this entry »

First of all, what attracted me to grab a hold of this book from one of the outlets of the “booksale” shops, was its being the current theme of my passion, on raising kids. Second, that it was produced by Focus on the Family. And when I checked the back cover, it says: Read the rest of this entry »

I figured this must be something most parents fascinates over For some it can come as trivial, but even as I have the privilege to see Jed develop, reaching his milestones (advanced than that of the posted national average), I get amazed looking beyond the comings and goings of everyday with this little guy. Now he’s not just all over the house, but has gotten into his maneuvering-and-getting-to-do-what-he wants tactics. Read the rest of this entry »

Jed continues to grow and thrive. He’s over 17 pounds now and have exceeded 100 percentile of his birth weight. And He is just 4 months something. National average says 6 months to double a baby’s birth weight. He actually doubled his weight at 2 months! Read the rest of this entry »

Today I spent most of my time at home finishing some stuff needed for Jed’s arrival. I’ve sealed off two out of the three windows of our home with screens to ward off mosquitos. I sure don’t want mosquitos sucking the blood off my baby. :) Read the rest of this entry »
