Beautiful from the Inside Out

I personally think taking care of oneself is essential. Whenever I see people giving me that look of expectation that a pastor’s wife should look like a drag, I really just let them be. Stereotype, I have never been and that I will never be. My relationship with my Savior is solid and will never be dictated by anyone. Especially by those who are wolves in sheep’s clothing. They are aplenty. But I’m not going into that. I have lived to see how God saw us through past persecutions and He has been faithful. I am leaving the judgment to Him as I press on doing what I do. 🙂

It is not bad to look good. But we have to make sure that we don’t beautify just our outside canvas. We have to be beautiful from the inside out.  I am not going to enumerate that things that I do to prove to anyone anything.  Whatever happened to not letting your left hand know what your right hand is doing, right? People seem to have a career out of shoving to everyone’s faces their good deeds.

I digress. But not quite. Because this has something to do still with beauty.  If you are scheduled for a wart removal anytime soon, you might want to stay tuned on for the weekly promos of Flawless towards the countdown to National Flawless Day. Let us just  not overdo trying to look good on the outside when we’re all rubbish in the inside. Constant works in progress, let us all be. 🙂
