Did I ever mention that I love weddings? The handful of entries I have written on it would say so. I love weddings not just because I have been a wedding planner and coordinator for sometime now, but there is just this enchantment in weddings that I cannot begin to put into words. Weddings are full of hopes and romance.
It foreshadows God’s plan in the future as told in Isaiah. Many passages in the Bible would read on the “church” being the bride and “God” being the Bridegroom. And Ephesians 5:25 says
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”

Talking about weddings, this entry comes in also to introduce and recommend my brother-in-law, Theodore Amper. A professional Cellist from UP College of Music, a member of the prestigious Manila Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a member of a professional string quartet who regularly plays in wedding events and boy are they good! He also serves as our mother church’s worship pastor. If there’s anyone you know who is in need of his service, feel free to contact him for details.

It was in the last days of November last year when I got convinced by two of my friends that I have to think of my future blog’s niche, name it and finally get my foot on true blue blogging. An SEO expert friend ushered us to a site where one can register domain names and claim the name for our site. Read the rest of this entry »

I can still remember how my husband proposed and slid the ring around my finger. It was the last quarter of 2001. Although it was kind of expected, I was thrilled how my ring glistened against the light from the resto we were dining in. Little did I know how he did his assignment and researched on the ideal characteristics of diamond engagement rings. He then shared with me the 4 C’s (cut, color, clarity and carat. It sure fascinated me. Read the rest of this entry »

#2 A Ticking Clock
This is when you can almost hear the clock tick, because of the silence around the house.
#3 Crowded Calendar
A bulging calendar fed with countless activities. This results in sheer exhaustion.
#4 Locked Doors
When either or both husband and wife clams up in a shell and resists or may be afraid to open up. It’s almost like an invisible wall in between them.
#5 Excess Baggage
When individuals bring heavy emotional luggage in marriage. This is made manifest in the conflicts that will arise due to unresolved issues.
#6 The TV Dinner
Lack of communication. The couple begins to shut one another out of their lives often when TV dinners have taken the place that is meant for communication.
#7 A Divided Highway
The absence of oneness, especially in raising up their children. The husband believes in one principle, and the wife another. For instance, even issues as trivial as availing of payday loans Read the rest of this entry »

I have been in quite a number of forums and websites that hold surveys. It’s one interesting way of getting statistics and knowing your market. I personally like joining polls because I get to have my vote counted and know what the result turns out. This actually is one way to drive traffic into a web page. Read the rest of this entry »

I could say that we are one musical family. Our inclinations towards music are natural. I could say that especially with my son, Jed. My husband is into rock, ska and always makes sure he gets into the latest music band news. My son sings non-stop and would sing all the songs that he has memorized (which is plenty, by the way) to put himself to sleep. Read the rest of this entry »

I have been very particular with regards to things my son uses right from when he was in utero. I have not stopped in my discovery to giving him only what’s all natural. Because I believe it will benefit him the best. My latest discovery is Smartwool socks and how beneficial this is going to be for my son. Unlike the regular cotton socks which, these days, would hardly come from organic cotton. Read the rest of this entry »
