In a world dominated by pollutants in all various shapes and forms, I believe that soap opera is one of the subtlest to exist. If one does not watch it, he can get hopelessly hooked. Something of a remake of and a sequel to Richard Donner’s Superman (1978) and Superman II (1980), Bryan Singer’s new take on the iconic hero begins with Superman’s return to Earth after five years away inspecting the remains of his home world Krypton. While he’s been out of town, crime and terrorism have escalated in Metropolis and around the globe. Read the rest of this entry »
