Three weeks shy until school resumes, and we have finally ticked off school shoes of our list! I have to admit, shoes shopping for my son is not something I look forward to these last few years since his feet turned Size 12. Imagine having to visit 5 different malls to finally able to get the right size soccer shoes! Yikes!
My son got on the comfiest school shoes and cross-trainers his Size 13 feet have ever stepped on. Shoes shopping wasn’t much of a task this time around!
World Balance and EasySoft by World Balance are now our family’s newest favorite shoe brands.
You see, as former homeschoolers, we never had to go shopping for school shoes before. But because we resolved to quit homeschooling in the event that Jed makes it to Philippine Science High School, we have redirected everything about our lives towards Pisay – including this seemingly menial task.
So even if there are a lot of transition tasks, these are things we gladly welcome and look forward to tick off. Yes, we just had to see if the “Cole Hann” looking EasySoft shoes go well with his school uniform. Excited former homeschoolers, that who we are! Haha!
Easy Soft by World Balance is the perfect store for us to check out. Budget-wise, especially. Because we decided to rent a place near my son’s new school, it means we will have to manage two households as we swing between our permanent home and our weekday abode. We have been pretty much psyching ourselves up to “hustle! hustle!”
Jed has broken-in both the EasySoft school shoes (P499.75) and a pair of sleek Atmos Trainers (only at P1,999), and he’s pretty happy with them! The latter he even used during last weekend’s Robinsons Supermarket Buddy Run.
In the event that you happen to be in the demographics of having big feet like Jed, you’ll be pleased to know that World Balance carries Size 13 shoes. That’s our usual problem with Jed when shopping for shoes. Local brands don’t usually carry big shoes sizes, because they say Pinoys don’t usually have big feet. His white trainers are Size13 and his #EasySoft Size11 – because of its flexible material.
We also bought the water and stain repellent and odor eliminator spray bottles. So far, so good. They seem to deliver their claims.
Thank you, World Balance for kicking off our school year with these basics. I honestly don’t think there are any other local brands that are as affordable and as comfy. Fellow mommies, we no longer need to settle for less. I love that I get to hop on this brand new school journey with this valuable mommy hack!
