13 Years as a Couple

“Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears . . . believes . . . hopes . . . endures all things.” (1 Cor. 13:4-7)

The hubby and I celebrated our 13 anniversary as a couple last February 10. The journey from  the beginning was not exactly smooth sailing as we hoped it was, but the Lord has been gracious and has proven time and again His faithfulness. After being married with my husband for 8 years, I can only conclude that a marriage can indeed get better and better every year.

It’s fun when we look at our pictures. We’re so glad that we were able to salvage quite a handful from typhoon Ondoy.  It really has been quite a while since and I cannot be more glad that God loved me so much to give me such fine man to love forever. 🙂
