When you’re a mom, every moment with your child is worth capturing.  Sure there may be the not so good times, but even then, you will also want those captured – at least that’s what I do.  Because the time will come that you and your family would go back to everything laughing over and cherishing all those precious times together. Taking pictures came naturally for me- from the time that the hubby and I were in the delivery room, doing breathing exercises while I was on labor, up to now that our son is about to turn 5 years old.

Last Saturday, Bisolvon launched Alagang SuperMOMents Online Photo Contest. This is one fine avenue for moms to showcase their priceless photographs of bonding moments with their kids for the whole world to see. To join the contest, all you have to do is buy Bisolvon syrup and log on to www.alagangsupermom.com.ph. Register to join the contest. Upload your photo sharing a special moment with your child or family. Invite your friends to vote for your entry. Uploading period is from February 20, 2010 to April 20, 2010. The top 50 finalists will be posted for online voting from April 26, 2010, to May 16, 2010.

So, I did not choose to brave the Bungee Fun attraction at Eastwood. I am too much of a coward like that. But what I was able to  do was cover comprehensively, each and every blogger participant’s bungee experience. Seeing all these shots just makes me want to consider trying it out. But from how my stomach churned just watching them last Friday, I am pretty sure I will still be all good at taking pictures next time. Unlike the hubby, I am not very adventurous.

Here are some pictures the hubby and I took from the Bungee Fun date in Eastwood.  First, the guidelines:

Who would have thought an attraction such as this will fit in what might as well be a packed place, Eastwood City already is.  It is located right smack across Pho Hoa, near Jack’s Loft and Dulcinea, which I think is very strategic.  People will just have to stop and watch such bungee fun.  This is exactly what happened when one girl went flipping and flopping in the air, with her crazy somersaults and fun air dancing.

My boys and I had a sumptuous dinner in Megamall last night together with fellow bloggers, as Yashinoya held their first ever Yoshinoya Bloggers Event. The first time I visited Yashinoya was sometime in 2002 with fellow BSF ladies. I was then regularly attending Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) in CCF which is located right smack across Megamall.

Upon entering Yoshinoya last night, the first thing I noticed was its makeover – it is even more inviting now. It has been sometime since I last visited the Megamall branch. My boys and I would visit the Sta. Lucia branch of Yoshinoya instead, it is so much closer to where we live.

Roses say “you’re special.”  Chocolates say “you’re sweet.”  But only Red Ribbon’s Roses & Kisses Cake says it all this Valentine’s day! :-)

While our little guy might be well over his diapering years now that he’s four, I cannot emphasize enough the fact how Pampers played a major role in the first two years of his life. Yes, I have always been partial towards leakproof cloth diapers. In fact, it is the one thing I made sure I use on my son majority of the time when we’re at home. But overnights and whenever we leave the house, disposable diapers it is.

Today, my little guy and I had such fun time as we attended Pampers Yoga Stretchycise Press Launch held at the Manila Polo Club. Above are pictures of myself and fellow mommy bloggers who attended.

Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill

The Venice Piazza‘s ambiance and perfect scenery shouted out an extended anniversary celebration for the husband and me. Upon alighting the service vehicle we rode in, we were instantly moved to behold the majesty of the Venetian inspired place. This, despite the fact that only a number of shops are actually operational.

We were first given a taste of the hospitality of Little Asia (Symphony of Flavors) and Mr. Charlemagne Lim, the restaurant’s president made sure that we had a grand time. It was a first for the hubby and me to taste Little Asia cuisine and this much I can say, it’s nothing like your ordinary oriental dining place! The very first thing I did when I sat down was browse through the menu and despite the elegance of the place, the selection of foods that they offer are surprisingly affordable!

The hubby and I was invited to the launch of Chocolate Walnut Fudge with Hershey’s Dark Chocolate, a premium selection cake by Red Ribbon. When they said in the media invite that we were to indulge in a 5-star dessert, I had no clue what exactly was in store for us and here’s much I can say, we sure did indulge! I have not loved another cake as much as I love Red Ribbon’s Chocolate Walnut Fudge! I am a true blue chocolate lover, dark chocolates, to be exact. So that’s probably what blew me away.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) has launched its newest campaign, “Byaheng Pinoy with Apl,” in partnership with MTV Asia.  A refreshing take on promoting the country’s top destinations, the campaign is a product of a long-time collaboration between Apl.de.Ap, or Allan Pineda Lindo, of the Black Eyed Peas and Tourism Secretary Ace Durano. The campaign gave rise to several projects that utilize Apl.de.Ap and his music as a platform to showcase the country’s sites to the world.

Fun, exciting and intensely musical – these are words that can easily be used to describe both the Philippines and MTV.

“We have so much in common,” states Bill Roedy, Chairman and CEO of MTVN International, when he remarked on the partnership between the Philippine Department of Tourism and MTV. Secretary Ace Durano of the DOT agrees, “Music is as part of the Philippines as our cultural heritage, there is just a perfect fit between MTV and the Philippines.”

This collaboration marks the first time that the media giant has joined forces with a country to promote its tourism industry and it exemplifies the innovative direction that the DOT has taken to reach out to younger generations of world travelers. The resulting campaign anchored on the global DOT website, AwesomePhilippines.com which represents a perfect synergy of the youthfulness of MTV and the unique charms of the Philippines. As Roedy puts it, “Our audience is young and vibrant and that’s exactly what the Philippines is.”

My son and I went on a playdate with other mommy bloggers and our kids, at Active Fun SM North Annex, late this afternoon.  Too bad the other mommies got caught in the terrible Metro traffic that was brought about by the most anticipated long weekend.  My son had no less than 3 hours of fun, to say the least.  And if I wouldn’t call it a day, he wouldn’t have left the place at all.  Putting it simply, it is a child’s wonderland. :-)

RR WhiteForest standee

This afternoon, mommy bloggers were given the privilege by Red Ribbon to savor and taste the soon to be released White Forest cake. While it looks strikingly familiar with its inspiration, the Black Forest cake, it can easily stand on its own by its very distinct taste. I love that it is not too sweet and the burst of yummy cherries complementing the shaved white chocolates makes for a perfect dessert.

Red Ribbon’s White Forest cake consists of three main ingredients, namely: long stemmed Maraschino cherries, white chocolate and white chiffon. White Forest was inspired by the famous Black Forest cake which originated from Germany and has become a famous cake variant worldwide.  Although Black Forest is not exactly my kind of cake, this white counterpart certainly did its trick on me.  I love it to bits.  In fact, I was the first one who finished the slice from the bunch of mom bloggers I was with yesterday, but ever so discreetly. ;-)  The sweet tooth in me just couldn’t resist the fusion of cream and white chocolate flakes, the juicy cherries bursting through my every bite. It was so good, I just have to give my take home White Forest cake to my folks.  And without me asking for feedback, Mama, who was never a cake person, called to tell me over and over that it was the best cake ever.:-)
