Expenses Coming in Successions

Published by User ImageJennie under Home, Uncategorized

Hard times are here again. Things seem to be really coming in successions. First, dear son and I got sick at the same time. I got hospitalized last week and now another problem has popped up. Our bathroom needs some fixing. I suppose with how it looks, it would not just take a regular plumbing job. Water has started to leak around the bath tub and what I am afraid is the expenses that will come with it. We will soon know even as we have started contacting the people who constructed our house. Did You Participate During the Earth Hour?

Published by User ImageJeff under Uncategorized

A while ago our family chose to turn off the lights in our house for one hour from 8:00-9:00 PM. We wanted to fuel awareness on climate change with this simple act. Curious about who else participated in our community, we drove around for 30 minutes to find out who else were aware of this revolution. We saw only three houses (not counting ours) who participated actively with their families gathering together and lighting candles outside their homes. We were a bit discouraged to get on with participating for 30 minutes more but decided to press on considering also that maybe many people in our area were not aware of Earth Hour. When we arrived back home we continued our support of the Earth Hour and played hide and seek in the darkness of our small house. It turned out to be fun and the last few minutes went by in a breeze. So did you participate in the Earth Hour? We’d love to hear your stories.

Our Love for Traveling

One of the things that hubby and I love to do as a couple is travel. We were married three years already before we got pregnant with our son and we sure did maximize our time then as we focused on each other and did a few traveling around the country together. It was fun. We hope to be able to do that now with our son if circumstances permit.

There are a few travel stores that offer travel gift certificates and for those who love to travel like us this is something up for grabs and should really take advantage of. Continue Reading »

Health Bracelet

Published by User ImageJennie under Health & Beauty, Uncategorized

Technology has reached out to our health issues in more ways than one. A handful of wonderful discoveries have been shared to contribute to a healthy lifestyle. One of which is the QRay Ionized Bracelet. For sometime now I have seen people sport this type of bracelet not knowing this is more than just for aesthetic purposes. It was only around a couple of years ago that I realized that it actually optimizes the body’s own bio-energy. That is why this type of bracelet perfectly complements a person with an active lifestyle. Having said that, it does not mean this will just be beneficial for athletes like my husband. Health and the Anti-Aging Revolution

Published by User ImageJennie under Health & Beauty, Uncategorized

Having been constantly sick for a while now, I have come to realize more how our bodies will eventually tend to fail us one way or another. I am getting better and hope to fully recover. As I look in the mirror and see those fine lines, I am reminded to be determined to keep young and healthy. One of the neatest discoveries of this age is those anti-aging serums like the ones Chantal Burnison has discovered. The legit scientist that she is with passion to help people maximize the youth potential of the skin, she has discovered her prized wonder, Ethocyn. The anti-aging revolution have come with all those wonder claims but only a few like the ones from Burnison’s lab are really known to be effective and affordable.

A Kauai Vacation

I recently have been blogging about how stressed I am. In fact, tomorrow will be another day for me to check again with my primary doctor. I have gotten tired of “wasting” my time doing this already that I am seriously considering going on a vacation after we’re done with all these.

Browsing through the net got me into a prime site for vacation. Kauai Travel Blog has every listing in Hawaii. They mediate between all those vendors of Hawaii vacations spots and potential vacationers like myself. From having seen in videos and movies the beauty of the island, I cannot help but really pray we could make it there one day, if not anytime soon. Continue Reading »

Tuesday Toot

Published by User ImageJennie under Meme

When I got an email from Mommy Community that it’s now time for the Tuesday Toot, I got kinda melodramatic. I have been feeling down and out lately and haven’t been in the best moods. Which means I haven’t been the most patient when it comes to my toddler. In fact, I often find myself getting irritated so easily. I’m not sure if it’s due to the plenty of medications I still am taking or just because I have been into too much stress lately. Plus the fact that I still remain like a walking prawn because the allergies all over my body still remain. (I think I’m making progress, though — the rashes have now began to form patches and maps signifying saturation point and will soon fade off, that’s how it works for me at least.) Continue Reading »

More on Saving Our Environment

I have yet another great find to help save the environment – friendsofwater.com. I have been made aware to do my share in conserving water from one of my better teachers in grade school. Miss Liban told her class how one of her ordinary days she suddenly felt silly just letting the water flow while she brushes her teeth. That simple example of hers made her mark in my life, that even at the young age of eleven I was made conscious to save water in my own little way. Continue Reading »

The Web Host Search Begins

Having been given the heads up by our current web host to get a new one to service our site, I have since been at a loss for I am not really learned to the logistics that fall in this category in the internet. In my search for the best web hosting company, I have also tried to contact some friends who I have come across the internet who are venturing into web hosting. Continue Reading »

Lifestyle Home Rental

It is a total blessing that our family need not rent anymore as we now enjoy our very own house. We are not new to renting. In fact, having rented for more than five years have given us enough experience, mostly not so good ones –from bad amenities of the house to landlady who gets really nosy.

If we’ll have no choice but to rent and we can very well afford it, we would choose Lewisburg Rental in a heartbeat. They totally redefine the rental market and makes their place feels like your own. Highest quality, with every unit that includes: Chef’s kitchen, beautiful wood floors, Kohler fixtures, radiant-heated bathroom floors, central heating and cooling, in-unit laundry facilities and energy-saving design.

Jesus’ Resurrection and Its Historicity

Published by User ImageJeff under Controversial, Education, Spirituality

“The meaning of the resurrection is a theological matter, but the fact of the resurrection is a historical matter; the nature of the resurrection body of Jesus may be a mystery, but the fact that the body disappeared from the tomb is a matter to be decided upon by historical evidence.” - Wilbur Smith

 Resurrection

Today many Filipino’s and other communities around the world that have some knowledge about Christianity commemorate Christ’s resurrection. And as majority of the world’s population throw many arguments about who this influential and controversial Man who claimed Deity while He walked this earth more than 2,000 years ago, about His death and about His claims that He would be raised from the dead, one thing that is undeniable is the huge amount of evidence available to provide illumination for skeptics who are sincerely seeking answers. Caring for Our Environment

Our family is proactive when it comes to valuing our environment. We do our share either by using products that are organic or recycling materials. To prove this, instead of disposable diapers, I have made use of leakproof cloth diapers to my son in his diapering years. There are a lot more examples, that at first were frowned upon by hubby, but now have come to embrace them. It is never too late to influence people around us to be conscious of our environment. For one, there is no replacing the mother earth that we now have.

It is interesting to know that a firm is especially designed to do the recycling processes of plastic, rubber and polymeric recyclable materials. They provide services such as Scrap HDPE: Continue Reading »

Health Insurance for Our Son

Published by User ImageJennie under Health & Beauty, Uncategorized

My getting hospitalized last week really got me and dear hubby to think about and consider getting a health insurance for our son. Both of us are covered except for our son. We still cannot figure out why despite the many follow ups that we did to inquire on the issue. Our son is turning three in a couple of months and he is still not covered. I have got him covered for more than two years now with accident insurance but that is just not enough. We have recently been made conscious of this fact when we first had him undergo some lab test for his primary complex screening.

I figured the health insurance card the company took in isn’t a very good one or they probably availed of benefits that are not family friendly. If only they considered insurance plans like that of Kaiser health plan which is designed to perfectly fit their clients specific healthcare requirements then we should not be going through the hassles that we now have. Appreciating Health Insurance

Published by User ImageJeff under Health & Beauty, Uncategorized

My wife being hospitalized for four days this past week made us appreciate more the importance of having medical insurance. We were able to leave the hospital paying only a very minimal amount instead of paying for the whole amount which is almost P50,000 ($1,200).

Individuals, families or small businesses can get health insurance in California at KaiserQuotes.com. This company provides quotes on Kaiser Health Plans available across the United States. For those based in California where medical underwriting is required for individual health plans, this web site suggests getting group health insurance because it does not require medical underwriting. KaiserQuotes.com is a good source of low-cost medical insurance with quality coverage at reasonable prices.
