Miss Bayview Park Hotel 2022 is more than just our usual beauty pageant as we know it. This is what echoed throughout the program as this was essentially a milestone, a testament of the hotel’s great comeback after over two of years lockdown we altogether were challenged with as a nation.
General Manager Mr. Eugene Yap’s closing remarks of the Miss Bayview Park Hotel 2022 Pageant, his persevering spirit and dedication for the company’s cause and its entire staff, their Bayview Park Hotel family was filled with hope and vision, a much needed morale boost, not just for the hotel employees but to everyone who witnessed the pageant’s coronation. This tells a lot about Mr. Yap’s leadership as the hotel’s General Manager from 2002.
Inquirer, back in 2020, quoted Mr. Yap as saying, “Just keep on giving the best available service to your guests and don’t forget to give your employees the pat on the back that they deserve. When you start receiving compliments from your guests and loyalty from staff, that’s where success comes in.” Reflecting his core values that made the difference in the company’s resilience, strength and vision – withstanding the challenges the pandemic has brought.
The pageant itself was fun-filled. While it is a competition, there was no hint and atmosphere of the girls being rude and snobby, as opposed to what most other pageants are “controversially” known for. What radiated more was the sisterhood of their experience. The contestants, who are employees of the hotel are commendable in how they handled themselves. It was a lovely experience for each of them, an opportunity to get their voice out and represent the hotel’s advocacy as it adds value to our nation’s tourism efforts.

These are the three words that I think would promote Bayview, I believe that an exceptional kind of service is always felt when you’re at home and this is the environment that Bayview Park creates, a family that would make you feel valued, comfortable, secure, and loved. Bayview employees treat each other as a family which I think is an essential part to make our guests feel at home too. And for these reasons, I can say that Bayview is definitely my home, your home, and our home. Thank you.”

We took advantage of our trip and had our date night as we did a mini Ermita food crawl, while we were at it. You’ll never run out of things to do and enjoy within the vicinity. A few blocks away is Robinsons Ermita too.
We love that the hotel is right smack Manila Baywalk Dolomite Beach. We got to watch the beautiful and majestic sunset.
