Yesterday, Nutrilite™, the world’s No. 1 selling vitamins and dietary supplements brand, hosted the 5th edition of its annual Nutrilite™ Health Run, a national initiative that advocates wellness and healthy living.During the #NutriliteHealthRun2017, Nutrilite™ gathered almost 10,000 runners in Manila alone.
Leny Olmedo, Country Manager of Amway Philippines said, “Amway advocates a holistic healthy active lifestyle. We are committed to our advocacy to encourage more people to prioritize their personal wellness. We want more people to live healthy by eating right, taking the right supplements and being active. Our annual Nutrilite™ Health Run is our proof of providing a sustaining health activity for all.”
This year’s Nutrilite™ Health Run covers four categories—1K, 5K, 10K and 21K respectively for both Manila and Davao.
First 21K Distance Run in the #NutriliteHealthRun2017
“This year, we are adding the 21K together with the other distances. We acknowledge the fact that Filipino runners want to challenge themselves; and, having this distance as part of the race, in partnership with RUNRIO Events, Inc., participants are assured of first class race organization and management, and more importantly on the safety of our event. The run is something we are highly committed to — to encourage a healthy active lifestyle among the Filipino community,” Olmedo added.
I had the opportunity to be one of the participants of the #NutriliteHealthRUn2017 in the 21K run. It was my 3rd half marathon and I was glad to be able to participate in such a run after being diagnosed with high cholesterol last December 2016 and slowly getting back into health activities.
