It never occurred to me that I had any creativity in my bones. That was before we dove into homeschooling some eight years ago. Homeschooling changed our family a great deal, and for the better.
During our first year of homeschooling, our son still had to wear his school uniform, just to make sure, in his mind, he sets apart “homeschool time” from playtime. One of the activities we had back then was hopscotch. We made do with what we had back then. It would have been a whole lot more fun if we had a recreational tarmac where our son can enjoy with his fellow homeschoolers during their playdates and social activities.
Outdoor play for kids is made more fun with some splash of colors, they don’t just add excitement to your kid’s play area, it also cover old markings.
Meanwhile, our 12 year old tween is loving basketball over every other sport, so far. I know his father would have wanted for him to take after his love for soccer, but we’re good with what he loves.
