Our son’s 12th birthday staycation at Madison 101 Hotel + Tower.
Madison 101 Hotel’s invite couldn’t have been more timely. We were set to go out of town for our son’s 12th. Unfortunately, all weekends of May were fully booked at the resort we were shooting to go in La Union. We were at Madison 101 Hotel the week following Jed’s 12th birthday, after mother’s day too. I love it that it’s almost always double celebration for our family every year.
Double Deluxe Room overnight rate is P3,500.
My son and I were able to place an order for dinner (room service) before the hubby arrived from the office later that night. We loved our cordon bleu and sauteed veggies plate.
The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant just yet but we can place an order in advance, if we opt to have room service for our meals. We were told that a restaurant is in the works, alongside a fitness center, and a swimming pool even as they are looking into upgrading to 4-star next year.
Our birthday celebrator chilled and blogged while on staycation. Jed is sharing his blog post via his Facebook page in the above photo.
Our little family got to swing by the grand Presidential Suite! We totally loved it! Everything we will ever need in a get together with friends and family, with an overnight rate of only P15,000!
We got a wee bit crazy and hubby played pretend for a photo op. 🙂
Next to the Presidential Suite, the Premiere Suite is the room I loved best. The view of Manila skyline, the space, perfect for a photo shoot.
I did mention we loved how quaint Qups Quarters Cafe is located at the basement of Madison 101 Hotel. The basement for a location is so unassuming, you wouldn’t have had the slightest clue that there was a cozy nook down there waiting to be discovered.
The decals, the cozy seats, the bean bags thrown on the sides, the books! Oh the books! Such perfect place for peace and quiet.
Each corner was inviting. I totally can spend a whole day in here! They serve good coffee too! I wish we’ve tried their dishes. We just had dinner when we visited. If only for Qups, I would love to take the hubby on a date there again sometime.
Qups Quarters Cafe has an extensive menu for a cafe, I should say.
The categories being: Hot/Iced Coffee, Blended Drinks, Matcha, Refresher, Iced Teas, Chocolate, Brewed Tea, Single Origin Coffee, Milk Tea, Sandwich, Pasta, Rice Meals, and All Day Breakfast.
The in-room massage was timely as well, with all the practice running my marathoner has been doing all week – it was a treat!
Downtime, play time!
These boys don’t get to do this a lot. This downtime was a welcome moment for all of us. Madison has free WiFi too, which allowed them to play StarCraft. It’s Jeff’s first time to play in a very long while – here he got to show Jed some war strategies, while I got to just chill, and relax. Something that we don’t get to do very often when we’re home. There’s always something that needs to get done.
Almost ready to check out!
Thank you for such warm accommodation, Madison 101 Hotel + Tower!
We are looking forward to celebrating with you as you turn the bar up towards that 4-star hotel upgrade.
