We Still Do: Our Renewal of Vows Wedding on Our 15th Anniversary

It was 3 years ago when Jeff went on his knees and asked me to marry him again. It was crazy! I was pleading for him to get to his feet in disbelief. Surreal, far more romantic than when he handed me my first engagement ring in 2001 in Fazoli’s Restaurant in Eastwood, just a few months before we said our “I Do’s.”

Somebody went on his knee at sunset by the bay today and asked me to marry him again. ❤️ Something he didn't do 13yrs ago. It's not abt the gesture of kneeling, really, nor the bigger rock (not complaining though). 😊 It's the heart of what's like a brand new husband in the same person God has given me. ❤️ Happy 12th, @jaspacio ! #anniversary #blessed #renewalofVows "Hang my locket around your neck, wear my ring on your finger. Love is invincible facing danger and death. Passion laughs at the terrors of hell. The fire of love stops at nothing— it sweeps everything before it. Flood waters can’t drown love, torrents of rain can’t put it out. Love can’t be bought, love can’t be sold— it’s not to be found in the marketplace." Song of Solomon 8:6-8

Three years forward and here we are preparing for the renewal of our vows. After coordinating weddings for decades, I never imagined I would have to go through the details of fussing over my own wedding again. But who’s complaining? I’m thankful enough that we’re doing this way before we’re ancient and grey. Haha!

We Still Do

Like on our wedding on December 8, 2001, we are using 1 Corinthians 13:8, “Love never fails…” verse again on our souvenirs and wedding invites.  I will definitely write more details on our wedding as we will feature the brands that are partnering with us on this very special and momentous occasion.

Meanwhile, as I get into the nitty gritty of our wedding preparations, 13 days away from our big day, I’m currently finalizing last few remaining details. Two of which are the guest giveaways and our wedding florist.

The sweet ladies in my small group have also handcrafted my paper roses bouquet that I can’t wait to share with all of you. The plan is to share with you all, details upon details of this upcoming sweet day we have been looking forward to. Till then! 🙂
