A whole week of being away from my son! The thought itself was hard for me to digest at first, since I was never away from him for more than 3 days, let alone 7 days! Since the hubby got everything planned out more than a month before, he just kept cheering me on that the week will be worth it. Explains his enthusiasm in getting the Baby Vision installed a month ago.
As I saw for myself how convenient it is for us to access and monitor my son from wherever I am straight from my iPhone or iPad, when the hubby was having the Baby Vision installed, it gave me a great deal of comfort. He is pretty obedient when my husband and I are around. But the thing with this little cheeky guy, he can get out of sorts when he is left with his grandfolks who patronize him at almost every turn. This, I am aware, not uncommon. Having a hand on things help during times like that. I like that I won’t even have to ring him to schedule a “Skype” or “Facetime” meeting because I can just be as discreet as I can and see him from where I am and even check out if he’s doing his PACES (we are homeschooling) or I can have my presence felt since I can choose the “speak” feature and he will hear my voice from miles away.
The night vision feature of Baby Vision is also a favorite. I love that I can see him even in the dark! Above photo was a screencap when I was on “speaking” mode. He was being in his restless mode when I took this screenshot. 🙂
Most times I’d just be discreet and keep in the “listening” mode. I also get to hear what television show is on on the background. That, I think, is something parents can really make use of especially when their children are left alone with a nanny.
Don’t just take my word for it, parents can actually get to experience Baby Vision first-hand via the following stores: Mothercare, Landmark, Rustans and Babyland. And if you love the convenience of online shopping like I do, you can check out: Lazada, Babies and Toddlers, Filgifts, Babyshop.ph and Chubby Cheeks. 🙂
