Just Jewels “Ring of Promise” Launch

Just Jewels launched Rings of Promise last April 21, 2010 at the Enderun Atrium in Fort Bonfacio, Taguig City. The event unveiled three custom-made wedding ring designs by Just Jewels endorser Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo, columnist and designer Tessa Prieto-Valdez and designer Debbie Co. And what a timely launch this is, with the wedding month just around the corner.

People are built for relationships and  marriage is the ultimate of it all. This is why the author of marriage, Jesus Christ Himself paralleled marriage to His relationship with His bride, the church. And from the mere traffic that Marriage and Beyond gets every single day, for the search string Christian wedding symbols, it tells that there are considerable number of couples who do not just marry in haste. They are intentional even as they would look into the very reasons why these symbols are there to begin with. The most prominent of which are the wedding bands – Rings of Promise.

Just Jewels could not have chosen lovelier artists to design such masterpieces. I especially love how the Dawn Zulueta- Lagdameo, Tessa Prieto-Valdez and Debbie Co shared their respective inspirations behind the designs. Dawn shared how she zeroed in on the phases of marriage, which inspired the three-toned bonds that she designed.  While some couples would not mind wearing the classics of wedding bands, others love theirs to be distinct. I remember our very own search for designs when we were getting ready for our wedding day. Although it goes from personality to personality, but for us it was one of the things that we made sure we looked into really closely. Yes, even more than the time I spent in choosing the kind of gown I was to wear. The wedding bond symbolizes forever and it is meant to be wrapped around our fingers until we grow old together, as we intend to, by God’s grace. So we thought we might as well have the design that we both would love wearing for the rest of our lives and so we chose the two-toned wedding bond that we have to this day. But the hubby needs to get his ring resized soon.

Here are the designs made by the lovely ladies:

designed by Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo

designed by Tessa Prieto-Valdez

designed by Debbie Co

Incidentally, Just Jewels also launched nationwide “The Best Proposal” contest where the best wedding proposals, successful or creatively planned, will be gathered and showcased. For more information regarding the Search for the Best Proposal, please visit www.justjewels.com.ph
