My folks house now looks spanking after the post Ondoy makeover. They used to have Narra plywood over their walls but they were compelled to renovate the whole place after the flood. There was just no other way to make the house livable again.
I was surprised to visit their house (we’re neighbors) a few days back and they have like a brand new house. No more gloomy looking interior. The dark narra plywood made the house look sad. It’s now all bright and shiny. Although Mom has issues with the tile supplier. She was given a low grade one, I cannot but love the granite kitchen counters and the newly renovated bath, which now has a shower enclosure. I’m so happy for them.
