Guess what I made today? An all natural yummy carrot juice from scratch! I realized it has been a while since I last made carrot juice. I was actually still prego with our son then. That’s already a long time ago. I have to say though that this may require an acquired taste for it to be appreciated. It tasted weird at first. I had to let the hubby and our little guy taste too, but I really can’t blame the faces they gave me after the first sip. It tastes so root croppy, which it is — a root crop. It is a break away from my hubby’s usual iced tea. But for the record, he has already developed an acquired taste towards green tea. He used to not like it.
Allow me to take a closer look at the benefits of carrot juice. Because of its many healthful benefits, it is often called the “miracle juice.” I have read more than once that it can even come as a natural acne treatment, primarily because it is one of the richest sources of Vitamin A. This too, can help strengthen eyesight. High in B complex and mineral content of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, copper, sulfur, iron, chlorine. These are only a few of the many benefits of carrot juice. I should start incorporating carrot juice drinking to our daily diet. Just a tip though, I have heard from an expert that when juicing, it is important to note that it’s not beneficial to make a juice out of a vegetable and fruit mixture. It has to be fruit and fruit or vegetable and vegetable. This I’m gonna have to read more on. It has been years that I forgot the value of that tip.
