When we were planning the house construction for our 48-square meter land, we thought about building two floors.But doing that would have doubled the cost so what we settled for was just to have beams designed for a two-storey house.Because we really wanted a more spacious house but were limited by the available land area.We wanted to have a music room in our house and a lawn area where we can place swing sets for our son.But, because of the limitations we had to settle for a bungalow style house for now, with the available land are maximized.We’re hoping that when we finish paying for our mortgage, we’d be able to start planning for construction of a second floor.Perhaps ten years from now.
