Sometimes people I meet are surprised how athletic or into sports I am considering that I am a pastor. It’s probably because it is natural for everyone, including me, to have a stereotype of certain professions or careers. But I like sports and I can say I tend to be a bit above average when playing the types of sport I’ve learned. The Bible says that Jesus grew in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and men. That means we also need to grow in four areas. We need to grow intellectually, physically, spiritually and socially – do you see how the physical aspect is mentioned also? That’s why I also take care of the body that God blessed me with. Since I was a kid I’ve been involved in basketball, swimming, track and field events, volleyball, table tennis, billiards, bowling, badminton, tennis, Kyokushin karate, basics of judo and aikido and of course, my favorite – soccer.
One sport I’m curious about is rugby. Ive never seen a rugby game but upon visiting RBS6nations.com I’d say that I’ve become curious about it. RBS6nations.com is the official site for the Six Nations Championship which is the premier international rugby competition in Europe. It is participated in by England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France and Italy every year. The tournament’s official web site features tournament information, schedules, team standings, match highlights videos, and they even have a fan zone area where rugby fanatics can play interactive games and download wallpapers among others.
Sports enthusiasts like me should try visiting their site. It will most likely help them gain interest in rugby.
