When my mobile phone broke down last month, I was set on getting a GPS Tracking capable unit to replace my old one. But the cheapskate that I am, I figured I would settle for a TFT touchscreen phone that is dual sim active. It served the purpose of replacing a defective phone, plus it carried my landline phone sim that allowed me freedom from having to lug around with another mobile unit. Too bad though, this unit does not include a GPS technology which I am so fascinated about. Continue Reading »
Here’s a screenshot of what kept me so occupied last week. I have had this site for months now, but it only picked up a couple of weeks back. It received six assignments in a week! It may not be much, but it is something for a blog that has been sleeping for months. It was fun doing all those assignments, although it took a lot of my time. It can be quite a task incorporating the links to the blog’s niche. I can only hope I was more creative.
I’m hoping to be able to cook up some interesting topics from beauty basics, even acne cream, fashion do’s and don’ts and everything in between. Check out the site when you get the chance, Kikaycorner.blogspot.com. It’s not much, but it’s helping rake in some moolah and I’m hoping to be able to maintain it well and good.
A couple of days back, I wrote about this cool plugin I just got installed in this blog. I love that Graham never chose to lay back and relax even as we can all see for ourselves how Entrecard is such a hit in the blogosphere. He can easily just do nothing and enjoy the view, so to say. He is much of a genius to do just that. When Entrecard came up with its partnership with SezWho, it thrilled me even more because of the traffic (quality) that it will potentially drive to our blogs . It just saddens me big time that this blog only got to enjoy this SezWho plugin for one full day and that’s it. For some reason, without the plugin being deactivated or anything about it getting tweaked, it disappeared like a bubble. No more rating stars, the widget is even gone. Not one evidence that it’s even there despite the fact that it is activated all right. All our other blogger sites are having the SezWho plugin running just fine. I checked my presentation tab and the widgets in this site and they are both properly placed.
….the path to true blog happiness is strewn with poisonous bugs, spitting cobras, lethal predators and treacherous quick sand. Apart from that, it’s smooth going all the way!…
I left a comment on Entrecard’s official blog but haven’t heard from them since. I understand there are a few bugs they are trying to get resolved. I’m just wondering if anyone out there who have had the same issues and got them resolved. I will really appreciate all the help we could get. Thanks in advance!
A few weeks ago my wife and I registered at a site that offers jobs online. This online service connects job seekers with providers and pays on an hourly rate or on a per-project basis. It is different from creating paid posts. They provide real jobs and the online company monitors the things you do online through desktop screen captures and they evaluate if you are doing your job or not. It requires a fixed time to do the job but once you do have one, especially if you get one with an hourly pay, you have a sure income.
The online service provides examinations that make you certified in a particular field you choose. I have taken test like the Technical Writing Skills certification, the Editing skills certification and the English test because with my job experiences, I was only able to apply for writing jobs. Compared to jobs related to IT, the writing jobs don’t pay much. This makes me think about venturing into learning new skills and maybe even getting a Cisco certification in the near future. This will surely be a great addition to my profile/resume in this company. I’m sure getting this certification will not just result to gaining additional skills but also broaden the available job opportunities, not only online but in the real world as well. Since the prices continue to increase here in our country. Plus, we are making preparations for our son’s schooling, having additional certifications that can lead to more job opportunities that have a flexible time will help us meet those demands. We just thank God that at present, He has enabled us to find other means to meet increasing financial needs.
It was fun to stumble upon Talk Reviews. This site has a list of Website Reviews on just about every web page in the world wide world. Would you want to view the statistics of different sites? Then you might want to check this one out. What’s fun is you get the chance to post your own reviews and have it go live.

And Entrecard just got even better with its powerhouse partnership with SezWho! This partnership further reinforces Graham’s vision for Entrecard on getting quality traffic to blogs – which every webmaster would love to have. I especially like the fact that Entrecard chose to partner with SezWho amongst dozens of other comment platforms available. Apparently, other platforms hijack comments, while with SezWho, you still OWN your comments. I just got the plugin installed and activated, it was a breeze!
What’s sweet about this is that the system SezWho has is uber powerful with a feature that allows the comments you post to other blogs considerable amount of exposure that will bring traffic to your site. Who would not want that? This is why we joined Entrecard in the first place.
This past week has been a busy one for me. Turning a 49sqm. fully loaded house around can be such a task. Aside from the fact that we need to do this to welcome in our little guy’s study nook, a house clean up should be done on a regular basis. Over time we take up stuff that we barely have a need for. That’s what I found out as I dug into several white elephants with dusts galore.
Yesterday as I cleaned up our son’s closet from my stuff and got his clothes in, I realized that after barely three months since the last time I sorted his clothes, he again has outgrown quite a handful of shirts, pants and even underclothes. Sigh! This got me to this great toddler clothes site that showcased variety of clothes that my son needs. What I love about this shopping site is the access it gives to details about different brands, which allows me to compare prices. I am such a cheapskate when it comes to shopping, I only go for the best deals!
Talk about taking blogging to the next level. A little over six months of authoring this website, inspiration hit me when I saw that Custom T Shirts can be made using state of the art full color digital printing via SonicShack.com.
It would be fun to get these shirts distributed. I am sure family and friends would not mind sporting some kind of a promotional shirt for us if we hand these out for free. It is like walking advertisement right there and the hope of a considerable percentage of those who would mark the name check out the site when they log on the internet. Hmm… that’s wishful thinking. But why not, it can be like our little experiment. Who knows, it might just boost our stats even now that we recently broke the 200,000 Alexa rank.
One of the things that we need to work on for this blog is search optimization. After all the meta tags that we have placed within the blog, we are still landing on the second spot when we search via Google using the key words “marriage and beyond.” The second spot may not be all that bad, but we still hope to be able to land on the first. Tips, anyone?
Yay! The hubby recently got a new domain for his football blog- http://www.footballvideosandpictures.com. This blog is his favorite among the handful of others that he maintains. He has around seven blogs, most of which utilize wordpress themes. Jeff is so much into the sport, that during the Euro2008, I would even catch him watching live stream via the net in the wee hours of the morning. He is so passionate about it, he blogs about it effortlessly. We recently just found out that even the Reuters republishes some of his posts with a link back to his site. We’re not really sure if that’s okay, but figured since they provided a backlink, then that was fine. He may have actually generated traffic from it. Check out his new domain and drop him a line or two if you may.
Back in 2005 the primary reasons why we started blogging were to journal our road to becoming parents and to later record milestones of our little guy. Through this journey, we have come to realize that more than those reasons to web blogging, we would also love to be able to share what we learn through our family and even minister to people through these things that we share.
Fast forward to late 2007, we finally got our very own domain, thanks to our generous friend Neil, who introduced to us the viability of monetizing websites. One of the first social media platforms we have joined was that of Izea’s. Continue Reading »
While online shopping is not new to me, the sites that make me browse through their pages for hours on end are the ones that does not focus on a particular product or service. I love going through different categories, comparing items and all.
The most recent treasure find I have stumbled upon has all the categories in it that you hardly have reason to go elsewhere! Beauty Warehouse. When I first got into their site, I thought it was just one of those usual beauty products site. I was in for a wonderful surprise when they have a whole set of categories from beauty to furniture, to everything else in between. Continue Reading »
The one year lock up period that we have with our current internet provider is over in three weeks. I swear this has been a most awaited time for us - we waited one full year. We are one patient couple. When we used to have a landline, I tried applying for a DSL bundle, it took them forever (I gave up on them because I cannot anymore get stuck with a dial up) to process my DSL application and now they are all over the place offering three day connection promotion of sorts. My only apprehension is what if it turns out that it is even lousier than smartbro?
The last couple of months we are set on switching to DSL, but upon hearing several dissatisfied clients, we are actually having second thoughts. Although the former complaints that we have had with our current provider(intermittent connection, uber slow response, et. al) were addressed, we are still not happy with the current speed that they deliver. You see, when most of the people we know are downloading files in minutes, we are having it done in days! For sometime I even thought that we had to get a new CAT6, but figured it was really our ever unreliable internet service provider. Continue Reading »
Online shopping is becoming even more popular nowadays. What primarily attracted me to it is I get to compare and investigate on ingredients and the what nots of a product. Some great products I know are not easily available from your usual grocery store or mall. Anyone who has tried online shopping will agree with me that it can be the most convenient. Besides what could be more convenient than doing your very errands right from the comforts of your own home? This has been my thinking until I heard of scammers and hackers having the ability to steal identities from the details that you give out when you shop online.
Being a newbie in this internet business, I did not know it has been going on for many years now. What honestly scared the wits out of me was when a friend’s identity from one of those social network accounts got hacked, and then emails upon emails would flood my inbox with warnings and horror stories of real people getting scammed. This is a serious matter and it concerns me big time especially that I practically do more internet banking than physically go to my branch of account.
Visit Shop Shield® and Learn More on how you could protect yourself from identity thefts, especially when you do your transactions online. Be in the know on how you can conceal personal information whenever you transact and how to practically eradicate the possibility of anyone stealing your identity. Truth be told, you never really know who among these companies actually sell their clients information to third parties. And then again, there are also those genius hackers who stop at nothing to get their loot from unsuspecting victims.
I am sure you have heard of phishing, internet scams and the like. Bad elements really stop at nothing to get into every possible entry on stealing identities to get into individuals bank accounts and other personal information.
I and the hubby are PayPal users and we do a lot of our banking transactions online. We were recently informed about widespread incidents of internet phishing. There are some measures we read on how to lessen the risk of getting scammed but nothing like this. It is just interesting that there are more that we can actually do to totally eradicate its possibility.
Maybe you could try and Visit Shop Shield® and Learn More on how you can better protect yourselves against identity theft and fraud. This company protects the consumers credit card numbers when they shop online, even information like bank accounts, billing and email addresses are withheld from third party entities. When you use their facility, the hackers who steal identities for a living are not given the convenience of accessing the information, because the details are never entered in the database of websites to begin with. And the companies that you buy from cannot sell your information because they never had it in the first place. The ingenious of Shop Shield® made it possible to replace identity information such that it becomes anonymous. This is why they guarantee information security.

The revolution of protection against internet fraud and identity theft is here through this ingenious, brand new technology.
We officially started blogging with our own domain, MarriageandBeyond.com almost six months ago. We know we have a lot to thank our SEO consultant for. Neil of Neilmaranan.com was the one who encouraged me to get our site monetized and optimized. I was so much into journaling my thoughts online, but only the free community site gets paid for my activities in blogging. Continue Reading »
We have been regulars of Entrecard from January of this year. I could even consider myself a notorious Entrecard dropper, completing the 300 mark every single day. (I do the card dropping for this site) Feeling pathetically incomplete when I don’t. It can be fun and addicting really. Entrecard has been like an avenue of discovery of treasure blogs across the virtual world of the internet for me.
For a while now, I have been using a dropping facility that allows me to drop faster than I used to. But the frustrating part is only a small percentage of those I drop our Entrecard to drops back and if that’s not the case the blogs listed in that drop page have had their last post centuries ago. I do not want to have to drop on blogs that are not maintained anymore or at least given considerable attention from their blog owners.
If you are here Entrecard dropping and seriously would like to be added to my list, please feel free to add your link. Bookmark this post as well for I did not get the Entrecard Drop Rank: “Takes dropping Very Very Seriously” for nothing. Happy Entrecard dropping, y’all! God bless!
