Our family is proactive when it comes to valuing our environment. We do our share either by using products that are organic or recycling materials. To prove this, instead of disposable diapers, I have made use of leakproof cloth diapers to my son in his diapering years. There are a lot more examples, that at first were frowned upon by hubby, but now have come to embrace them. It is never too late to influence people around us to be conscious of our environment. For one, there is no replacing the mother earth that we now have.

It is interesting to know that a firm is especially designed to do the recycling processes of plastic, rubber and polymeric recyclable materials. They provide services such as Scrap HDPE: Read the rest of this entry »

It is true that a handful of American people have enslaved themselves to the habitual use of credit cards that most of them have failed to take responsibility for paying their bills and have been considered as those with bad credits. Many of them are basically on the verge of declaring bankruptcy, that is if they have not arrived there yet. People with bad credit standings are the ones who get declined more often than not by creditors. Read the rest of this entry »

Any family like ours could benefit from this discovery– CarsBlvd. If you happen to be looking into buying a new car but are anxious about having to pay the full amount, then you have to consider to get a quotation from CarsBlvd. Now you do not need to pressure yourself to pay in full for that sedan that you want. Compare Car Loans quotations right from their site for free and have the dealers compete. It’s fairly easy and wise buying this way. You actually make your money work for you through this agency.

If there is anything that I can say about our family is that we value quality when it comes to products and service. This especially applies to customer service of whatever product or services we patronize. Read the rest of this entry »

A friend of ours who used to work in a place where there was no choice but to park in a mall told us how important it is to rent a permanent place to park rather than pay for a space on a daily basis, wherein the rate can get really pricey if you sum up and compare.

When dear son was three months old, hubby and I went to Cebu for a much needed break. We canvassed and browsed through several Hotel Reservations that were offered then. We picked out a place where there was a kitchenette. I figured it could be more fun if we were able to prepare food right inside our hotel room. Read the rest of this entry »

I must say that my favorite room in our house is our bathroom. Its theme is black and white classic. We were also able to install a bath tub, which is what I have always wanted to have ever since I was little. Despite the fact that the tiles installed therein are from floor to ceiling as opposed to the more popular budgeted ones, it is still practically a discount bathroom. I remember going through just about every home depot this time of the year yesterday looking for fixtures for our dream bathroom including cheap lights and we then settled for a pin light which completed the look. With many online opportunities coming our way my wife and I have been pondering about getting a replacement for our 1988 Nissan California. Ideally we want a brand new car but we’re willing to settle for a second hand car or a refurbished one. We are even thinking about making a directbuy from car manufacturers at least we’re sure it has been well maintained. I hope this becomes a reality soon.

We have to admit to it. One time or another, especially when times are low and needs are high, what we immediately think of is going out to get a loan. But if we have wiser alternatives than the usual payday loans, would we not have it instead? Here is where personal short term loans come in. Read the rest of this entry »

There are some major decisions a family like ours go through from time to time. Like for instance deciding to sell an Endowment policy. There are several reasons why people sell their endowment policies. Among them are: the policy you have at hand might not cover future mortgage repayments, to pay off debts, Read the rest of this entry »

My husband has recently given me a go signal to launch our online store. I have tried selling products via ebay and other auction websites but they now require certain percentage from sold amounts. This just defeats my very purpose for selling my items in the first place. I definitely do not want to hike my prices up just to be able to retain the mark up that I would have each product to have. I have seen a number of families venturing into passive income businesses. One example of which usually starts when a family purchases two or three family homes. In some instances, a property is divided into a number of apartments and use the rental income to pay for the mortgage, and then payment is done in full, there comes the passive income. For those families who would love to maximize the benefits for this kind of business go check with TenantReports.com. Read the rest of this entry »

I think our family has definitely caught up with technology, but not necessarily the latest. We started out with phones because that was what we could afford. My wife and I slowly worked on upgrading our phones, selling the old ones and buying more advanced units, until we got the features we wanted. As for a computer, we started out with a AMD 1.7Ghz three or four years ago but got conned when we had it repaired. So, we had to settle for a Pentium 3 and that’s when we started to have the opportunity to surf as long as we wanted, starting out with a dial up service. When we moved in to our own house last year we upgraded to wireless connection at 384 kbps max. As blessings came last December we were able to upgrade our computer to a dual core with our megabook. Now, I’m thinking of maybe upgrading to an Apple iPhone (just kidding, Jen, but that’s really what I want for Valentine’s day ☺).
Well, this is just sharing how technology can really work on our own vanity. We don’t forget to thank God for the blessings we have received (most of what we have in our house including a big chunk of the megabook are gifts) and enjoy.
But, since I’m thinking along the line of technology, why not indulge me for a moment? With an iPhone, surfing, listening to music and communicating would be so easy without the hassle of carrying so many gadgets. Plus, there’s Planet-iPhones.com, a site where an iPhone can be customized. Downloading an iphone wallpaper Read the rest of this entry »

Our family is looking at going into business in the future. For now, aside from the Startup capital issue, we need to set everything up from the location, the kind of business and all the other details on starting a business. We know the risk is there, we just want to have them at the minimum, if we could at all help it. Read the rest of this entry »

When one is in search of a lending entity to avail of business loans, there are handful of things to consider. It is best to choose one that does not require collaterals. It also helps when you have good credit standing, because business loans are more likely to get approved. Accommodative Financial Solutions even offer $25-100K to such individuals. Plus, they process 24 to 48 hour approvals. No application fees required and definitely no hidden charges for business loans. They even have the lowest interest rates in the U.S.
