Good morning from Plantation Bay! I thought I’ll blog away while my boys are still in dreamland. The birthday celebrator opened his first gift in the wee hour of this morning, when I successfully mimicked one of the things he does best. I snuck the gift right under his pillow while he was in the loo. Yes, the same pillow I slept in that gave me the most restful sleep in weeks, months even! Boy, it would really be so hard to leave this place.
Our Poolside Room
I’ve been posting away pictures of Plantation Bay on Instagram since we arrived yesterday. This place is insanely beautiful!
Above is a panoramic shot I took of our view right from our poolside room here in Plantation Bay.
Our view last night. Jed was so thrilled that he gave his Tita a quick tour of the place via FaceTime. He’s that boy in green inside the gazebo with his Papa’s iPad (if you can at all spot him). He was chattering away how his day has been to his most loved Tita.

We’re looking forward to a full day filled with activities here. I love that there are a whole lot of stuff that we can do around here that’s included in our stay. Unlike our previous trips where we have to pay for every single “tour.” This trip is actually very reasonable when it comes to its rate. We have our own butler at that! And may I just add that the “No Tipping Policy” is still implemented here. That’s another unique thing about Plantation Bay.
Meanwhile, I’ll have to check these out to plan our day out. The birthday boy definetely wants for us to wall climb. We will also check out the Game Room and maybe play some mini golf, tandem bike or something. Aside from dipping in the various salt and fresh water lagoons they have. And yes, the beach! We just can’t run out on things to do around here.
I will post my more decent Plantation Bay pictures next time. It will all be photos from iPhone for now.
Here’s praying that my love will have the most memorable of birthdays! The most amazing husband and father deserves nothing less. My son and I are so blessed to have you, Jeff! Happy 37th birthday!!!! Praying for God’s favor upon you all the days of your life.

i’m sure you enjoyed your stay in plantation bay… it’s where my uncle and aunt stays all the time if they come here in cebu for a vacation…

Happy birthday, Jeff! I’ve seen all the photos at IG, Sis and I am so green with envy! It’s definitely one of the finest resorts in the country. I’d love to be there one day.

This is the first time I heard of a hotel with a “no tipping policy.” That’s really nice! I hope all hotels are like Plantation Bay.
