I see a divided opinions about SmartBro and PLDT, some are happy with SmartBro, while others prefer PLDT.

So I get the impression that there’s no best service around.

But for me, I am happier with PLDT than SmartBro, seen their service and PLDT is better.

By the way speedtest.net, according to many, does not show accurate results – it is always higher than the actual speed. Try testmy.net

Hello Jona! God bless you too.

It really is a relief for me when PLDT started calling since late last month. Imagine my disappointment when I was told that the slot was grabbed by another one on queue and I did not call them back soon enough about the line availability. They did call again last week and I followed it up yesterday and the job order was ready. I did not waste a minute! I ran to the business center to seal it. SmartBro was a complete nightmare!

Thanks for sharing this, ChieMartin. This is a relief to know. Honestly, I have altogether quit calling SmartBro’s hotline, I have had it with their agents telling me the same things. They almost sound like parrots to me. Nothing they do resolves my speed issues.

Once you’re with PLDT DSL and you experience a slowdown, they assure at least 70% of the subscribed speed. If you get anything lower than that consistently, just call them up at 171 and report the issue.

And when reporting an issue, it always helps not to be irate, as I normally get my speed issue fixed within 24 hours.

It's good you have other options. Our smartbro connection broke down and took nearly 2 mos to get fixed. We only have this provider in our area so we have no choice but to follow up and wait on them. anyway, i'm saying hi and Godbless! jona's last blog post..Help Finally Arrived
