When my mobile phone broke down last month, I was set on getting a GPS Tracking capable unit to replace my old one. But the cheapskate that I am, I figured I would settle for a TFT touchscreen phone that is dual sim active. It served the purpose of replacing a defective phone, plus it carried my landline phone sim that allowed me freedom from having to lug around with another mobile unit. Too bad though, this unit does not include a GPS technology which I am so fascinated about.

I first learned about this technology as the hubby and I did our marathon on the first season of the series 24, some five years ago. This technology was fairly new to me then, and I was amazed how technology has pinned through everything that seemed too impossible to accomplish.

There are several advantages of GPS tracking like its Google earth compatibility, its being user friendly and highly accurate. A GPS tracking key is a small device that is incorporated inside a unit (whether mobile or otherwise) that receives signals from twenty four Department of Defense GPS satellites orbiting the earth. That’s something!

A lot of criminal cases have been solved with the aide of this GPS tracking technology. I believe this is really something our local officers should really look into. This could really help solve all those pending criminal files that just keep stacking up. I’m definitely going to read more on this wonder technology.
