If I would be honest with what my current health issues has caused me, I will tell you right here, right now, these can bring me down to the pits, when I come to think about it. I have valid reasons to be tempted to feel depressed. Imagine, I was off to preparing for my board exam, even enrolling myself in a non cheap review class just so I will go take the board prepared. But alas, my sickness came and did it come with a bang that I had to stop attending my review class and altogether dismiss the possibility of taking the board.

There are a lot of “I Should’ves” in my mind, the cost of the review classes and even the application for board are two things, but not the major ones. Time is the major thing for me. I have completed my course in one semester when most do it in one year primarily because I am not a believer of procrastination and I always prefer do things at once. I kind of toyed with the idea during my hospital stay that I might as well avail of Depression Treatment while I was at it. Read the rest of this entry »

I have spent my laziest days of this year in the hospital. Have stayed there from last Friday till early afternoon today. I cannot tell you enough how much I missed blogging and blog hopping too. Thank you my dear friends for all your sweet wishes. Be assured that I have felt the love through the cold walls of my hospital room. I will get back to post some trivial things and some preoccupations (even photographs) I had during those times. Read the rest of this entry »

I woke up today with a smile on my face. Who wouldn’t? I was sleeping in my own warm bed, not anymore in the frigid bed of the hospital and beside me was my cutie pie son who I have not cuddled with for such a long time. My son went to our room in the middle of the night and decided he would spend the night. I would not have minded if he slept till morning, he just stayed an hour and he realized he wanted to sleep in his own bed so there he went back to his own room. My little big boy.

I have missed my son so much and have been toying with thoughts about getting away to hang out with my family, especially when I saw that NFR Tickets are now available for the taking. It would be nice to getaway after the storm. I would say this is even more timely as it is vacation time. Tomorrow is the official start people from the workplace to enjoy their vacation. A real long weekend for all of us here. I am excited to be out of the hospital just in time for this.

Hubby took this shot last Friday when I was first admitted at the hospital.  I was still in the Emergency Room.  I have to say that Medical City has improved a tad when it comes to their accommodation process.  When I was admitted last 2006 we had to wait for hours on end to get settled.  Read the rest of this entry »

bcardbackground.jpgGetting back from the hospital makes me seriously think of going on a vacation. I stumbled upon Kauai Travel Blog and here’s what I saw. I have a few friends in Hawaii and it will be such a sweet time if ever we will be given a chance. I badly need a break. And given that summer is here and Hawaii is not a very far place from here, then there really are a few odds. Read the rest of this entry »

This must be the happiest toot I have ever done ever since I joined the mommy community.  From being in the hospital for five days, I can never be happier to be finally home with my family.  I may probably still look like a giant prawn from all the allergies I still sport from neck to toe (I am really glad my face was spared),  but I don’t mind — this will come off sooner or later, but my time with my family, especially my son who I missed so much will only come one time.  Read the rest of this entry »

It is true that a handful of American people have enslaved themselves to the habitual use of credit cards that most of them have failed to take responsibility for paying their bills and have been considered as those with bad credits. Many of them are basically on the verge of declaring bankruptcy, that is if they have not arrived there yet. People with bad credit standings are the ones who get declined more often than not by creditors. Read the rest of this entry »

My wife, Jennie, has been in the hospital since Friday. This was a decision made because of her fever that wouldn’t go away for days. Giving her paracetamol couldn’t stop the fever so it was hard to manage. So we decided, with the doctor’s advice to get her to the hospital. I hope that today would be our last day here at Medical City. I’ll update readers out there later on about her condition. So for the entrecard droppers, my wife asked me to write this post to apologize for not being able to drop back for now. We thank you for understanding.

One of the few things I appreciate about the world wide web, is the availability of reviews on products that we patronize on a daily basis.  This is one of the reasons why I created a blog of the same niche.

ProductReview.com.au is one of those websites that can be handy when you need it.  This site has probably the widest category, from cars, computers, electronics, entertainment, health and lifestyle, home and garden, et.al.  I especially love how easy it is to navigate around the site to find just the product you are searching a review of.  Their kids and family category just fits my everyday browsing for products that will be best for my family.  I just love this site!

I did not get a notification via email, that is why this is a delayed toot.  This week is dear son’s barrage of medicines to take. Three all in all. It is just a relief for a mom like myself who does not need to wrestle with a son to take his meds. He gladly takes them all and describes the color and taste, squinting in between tastes. His medication will be for six months.

I have been pretty down and out lately, physically that is. Now that I’m sure to miss out on the single most prepared for thing, (taking the board) I have been thinking and looking into unsecured business loans and maybe consider a work from home job that is more stable than blogging. I have been a member of Buzzfuse.com for around a couple of months already. I would have to say that I need to utilize it more than I did in the past. For one, the articles that I have submitted really get more traffic than those that I don’t. Plus, it was only now that I found out that I can actually earn money for a top referring post. I found these all out from the mail I got from them and a handful of people already earned by far. This must be the coolest thing that ever happened in social bookmarking.

I have been pretty much bedridden these past couple of days. Yep, it’s official. I am not taking the board anymore. It is just unwise for me to still push through when everything about me is not ready. I have ceased to attend my review classes for some time now. I practically am always on the bed. Even right now, I cannot even manage to get up to go to my workstation. I am blogging from my bed! I am so weak I have to have my hubby bring our son over my folks, because I am just too frazzled and dizzy to take care of him today. Read the rest of this entry »
