As Valentine’s day is fast approaching and the romantic air getting sweeter by the minute, people have started going over all the romantic thoughts and plan of places to go to. Both me and dear hubby have got places in our minds that we love to visit. But for me what tops my list is Italy. It is definitely one of the most romantic places in the world, hands down. It is one place that we would love to go to sometime.

With many online opportunities coming our way my wife and I have been pondering about getting a replacement for our 1988 Nissan California. Ideally we want a brand new car but we’re willing to settle for a second hand car or a refurbished one. We are even thinking about making a directbuy from car manufacturers at least we’re sure it has been well maintained. I hope this becomes a reality soon.

We have to admit to it. One time or another, especially when times are low and needs are high, what we immediately think of is going out to get a loan. But if we have wiser alternatives than the usual payday loans, would we not have it instead? Here is where personal short term loans come in. Read the rest of this entry »

It is almost Valentine and I still have not given dear hubby an answer for the Valentine gift I wish to have. I actually am not very particular with these sweet mushy gifts. I was not able to think of any until I stumbled upon myjewelrybox.com. The online jewelry store is just a hit! Read the rest of this entry »

There are some major decisions a family like ours go through from time to time. Like for instance deciding to sell an Endowment policy. There are several reasons why people sell their endowment policies. Among them are: the policy you have at hand might not cover future mortgage repayments, to pay off debts, Read the rest of this entry »

My husband has recently given me a go signal to launch our online store. I have tried selling products via ebay and other auction websites but they now require certain percentage from sold amounts. This just defeats my very purpose for selling my items in the first place. I definitely do not want to hike my prices up just to be able to retain the mark up that I would have each product to have. I’m not sure if you have a husband as into sports like I do. I probably am the most non-sports participating girl you will ever come across with. But that was before I met dear hubby. He has dragged me to possibly every sports event that he ever went to. I am so sure that if we were given the chance he would have us Buy Red Sox Tickets in a heartbeat. Different storms of life come to marriages and some of those storms are really difficult to overcome. One of those storms is when a loved one becomes disabled. Two nights ago I just had my bangs trimmed again. I won’t call it vanity. I just need to device a better look to make better of my crowing glory that has grown thin these past couple of years. My wide forehead does not really bother me as much as the fact that my hair is growing thinner by the year. I am really admitting to this, am I? After I gave birth in 2005 I started losing so much hair. It was like I was on a chemo, I swear! I have read somewhere that it was to be expected when a woman gives birth, but I hope I they grow back as before.

I have tried and tested countless hair loss products, even those designed for horses’ hair, no kidding! I have also come across provillus. Read the rest of this entry »

I just came back from my review class in Manila. It was by far the most challenging time for me- commuting alone in Manila. I have always been terrified to commute especially in the vicinity of the famous Quiapo place. This place is flocked by a lot of bad entities and I practically sprinted my way from the bus to the train station. It’s good that I practically have the same figure as someone who has benefited from eca stack. I love being fit at this age. In fact, I still perfectly fit the clothes I had in my teenage years! Yesterday, since dear hubby was really busy, we practically just went communicating throughout the day through short messaging system. I have been really disgusted already how our broadband connection will time and again act up. It has always been like this. I was out convincing him to go look for another provider who will not give us this kind of trouble. Read the rest of this entry »

Learning how to express love for each other is very important for the family, especially for fathers like me. I grew up in a home where expressing love is not scarce, but my high school experience of becoming a Corps Commander taught me to be tough to the point that I unconsciously limit the emotions I show or express to other people and situations. But as a father, expressing love is an essential skill and habit to acquire. A few tips on how to express love to your wife and children are:

Since two weeks ago when dear son shifted from our family bed to his very own single bed inside his very own single room, he has managed to stay there for most of the nights. Yesterday he was announcing to his father and me that he is no longer baby Jed, but his name now is big boy Jed. This surprised us. It’s another bittersweet progress of our son. He sure is growing up and he is ready step out of the baby stage.

I know I will hold him as my baby in my heart, forever. It is one of the songs we sing every night. The “I love you, forever song.” He requests this from me and sings it with me. He would also love to give his papa his play guitar and hand me his harmonica while he plays the drums and the used piano alternately. Read the rest of this entry »
